[Waking up in a strange place such as this brings with it a déjà vu sort of feeling. Two years and nine months ago (though it feels like much longer), Lily woke up on the MS Elegante. She never thought she would ever go through such a strange, disorienting experience ever again—And yet, here she is, rolling off an unfamiliar bed and onto a hard wooden floor. She wakes up and groggily assesses her surroundings.]
[This sure as fuck isn’t the Shore, and, more importantly, it sure as fuck isn’t the Elegante.]
[Lily finds what appears to be a communicator on the bedside table. The screen is tiny, and it doesn’t have a keyboard. Just a bunch of numbers. Whose idea was this abomination? And how does she use it? Why are there little letters under the numbers?]
[Okay. Alright. Here's a post from... Samuel. Who's Samuel? Not a voice she recognizes. And who's Captain Rowe? Some Redd knockoff?]
[Weird.]
[It takes a great deal of fiddling until Lily opens a new voice post, no typing required! Just the little arrow keys a few (dozen) times.]
Sooo... Is this on?
[Lily squints at the little screen. Sure looks like it’s recording.]
Hey, I’m Lily Worth. [Introductions first!] Does anybody know where we are? I mean—It's a boat. But what boat? And where? Who’s on the crew?
[She opens her bedroom door. Yeah, this ain’t the Elegante. The Elegante is miles fancier. Lily grabs her room key and ventures into the hall. Off to deck 9!]
I already like this place way more than the Shore. That’s where I came from—the Shore. The Golden Shore. [She sounds delighted!] Please tell me I’m never going back!
[This is the happiest she’s been in months.]
[She calms down, just for a second.]
... So what’s up?
[There’s a shuffling noise as she struggles with her primitive communicator.]
Okay, how do I—
[Click.]

You must slow down, niña. You are on the Black Tide. And we are going to the Golden Shore.
[....hrm]
The, ah, proper Golden Shore. Check the map in your room.
[ voice ]
... What?
[The proper Golden Shore? What the hell? Lily spins on her heel and jogs back to her room.]
But that's where I came from. I lived there. For a long time.
[ voice ]
[But that's enough of that.]
There is food. Lots of it. Deck nine. And you must remember to thank Rowe for her kindness.
[ voice ]
Um, I'm confused. There's more than one Golden Shore?
[ voice ]
[ voice ]
So you're doing what Redd was doing?
[ voice ]
[ voice ]
[That's... reassuring? Almost? It's good to know that the fucking sandbar she was stuck on for six months wasn't the paradise that Redd told them about.]
Cool. So cool! I thought I'd be on that shitty island forever!
[ voice ]
Now, niña, go eat. Frankie will be upset if you do not.
[ voice ]
Thanks.
[Back to her communicator.]
What's your name?
[ voice ]
Oh? My name? I am Mica.

You will meet them eventually.

Do you know where I can get some paper? And a pencil?

[But...]
For you, I will go.

[Guess whoooooo?]
[ voice ]
[Wait a second. She knows that voice. She could never not know that voice. Lily holds the communicator close to her ear.]
Mmmaster Oogway? That you?
[ voice ]
[You are not alone.]
We are on a ship! Again.
[ voice ]
[Lily was terrified that history might repeat itself, and she would wake up here alone with no family to speak of.]
I'm so glad to be off that island. I hated it. [She finds an elevator and punches in deck 9 for the Pourhouse, but she changes her mind and decides to walk there and explore on the way.] This isn't as nice as the Elegante, though. Not even close. But it beats the Shore by a longshot!
