[Carter turns the camera on and it broadcasts. He doesn't know it's doing this, as he thinks he's just filming a video of himself.]

Entry one. Title: This Place is Fucked Up. Did I mention it's fucked up? Exhibit A, the bathroom--

[Carter swings the camera around and shows the bathroom, which has a wall of shrunken heads. Their eyes roll and they cackle when they see the camera. Carter backs out of the bathroom and closes the door.]

Can you believe that? My door is unlocked, too. What amateur kidnappers. Where's Reefs? He's gonna kill all of you. He's a hard motherfucker. Anytime now. Hey, do you see that?

[The camera flips around to show a Nameless, its mouth stitched shut and carrying a stack of laundry. It passes by the open door to Carter's suite. The teen gasps audibly.]

That guy had a sewn mouth! What the fuck! What the fuck! That is some fucked up Somali-pirate shit!

You had a Halloween party? That must have been fun! All different kids--people, sorry,--with powers and normies there, too.

[Carter isn't serious as he asks in a joking fashion:]

Did anybody die?

Hosted and enforced by the Captain. It was quite fun, even though some people weren't impressed by the later half of the party. [He can't help but chuckle before tilting his head a little and looking curious.] Are you used to being around a lot of children?

...I'm not sure if any of the passengers died. But a lot of our attackers did.

Children, yeah.

[Carter's been kept away from society for most of his life and interacted mostly with 'youths' under 25. His socialisation comes from movies and the internet. It's a miracle he's not more awkward.

And then San reveals that people did die. Well, attackers. Still people, Carter assumes. The laughs died in his throat.]

Wait, attackers? So there are gangs or whatever here? What happened?

Well, you're in for a treat then.

[He flashes a smile before leaning out of frame to grab a box with a Nameless plush inside. It takes him a moment to pull the item out, keeping it rather bunched up.]

I'm not sure what provoked an attack, but our opponents were very large chipmunks that would pack people away in their mouths or a bag that was around their waist. [He demonstrates by lifting the plush to the side of his mouth then tosses it back in to the box he produced it from.] You had to cut your way out.

Chipmunks.

[Carter laughs, but it's humourless. He figures San is pulling his leg now. Chipmunks attacking a halloween party on a extra-dimensional cruise ship? Talking heads in the walls? What was next?

Carter's laugh is a little punch-drunk, a little hysterical.]

Yes, chipmunks but I can tell you don't believe me. It is a shame that no one kept a souvenir or took footage of the incident.
